The Victron Multiplus 12/1600/70 Inverter Charger delivers reliable 12V low voltage (LV) single phase power conversion, suitable for both off-grid and backup energy systems in Uganda. With a continuous output of 1600VA (1.6kVA) and advanced features such as PowerAssist and PowerControl, this unit supports stable operation even under variable load conditions. The integrated transfer switch (16A) allows for automatic switching between grid and inverter sources, while the VE.Bus communication port enables parallel, three-phase operation, and remote monitoring. The device is engineered for high efficiency (up to 95%) and includes comprehensive protection features, programmable relay, and a battery temperature sensor for optimal battery management. Its robust aluminium enclosure and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for diverse Ugandan environments, including rural and urban installations.
